Isolationism means the relutctance of America getting involved in any alliances and wars. Many isolationists believed that America could advance the cause of freedom and democracy other than fighting. But this did not mean in any way that America was "disengaging" from the world stage. They just wanted to be neutral and not get too involved, or at all involved in any wars and alliances.
This picture says "America First". The image says it all, America did not want to deal with other countries problems, like joining wars and alliances. FIRST. They put themselves first. I think that its not that greedy in a way because in a persons perspective, you always put yourself first, and I can kind of agree with this in Americas P.O.V., how they don't want to get involved in other countries situations.

Summary of what was done to choose topic, complete research, create project, and what was learned about the topic, research, etc.
Well, my partner and I were looking in the History book for good topics to do our project on and we came across "Europe Erupts in War". It had to do with Hitler, the Jews and the Holocaust, basically WWII. So we thought this would be interesting and chose this topic for the project. In class, we would have laptops to work on our projects, so every class time I would tell my partner to do research on a certain narrow topic and he told me to do the same. That is one way we got the research for the project. Another way we got it was by going to the library after school when we had the time. Also we went over each others house to do some research. Those were some ways we completed our research. I actually learned something very fascinating about one of the videos I watched about the Start of the Holocaust. It was that Jews were the ones who actually started all this. If you want to watch the video it is in the "Start of the Holocaust" page.
